Hey guys and HAPPY THANKSGIVING!!! I thought I would post something, really anything today for Thanksgiving and what better way to do that than to relate it to books???
Well kind of. It is not really related to Thanksgiving BUT it has me think about Thanksgiving so why not? The tag I decided to do is The Fall Time Cozy Time Book Tag created by Novels and Nonsense over on Booktube. You can check out her original video and see whats been happening and what her answers were as well.
Ok to start the first is – Crunching Leaves: The world is full of color – choose a book that had reds/oranges/yellows on the cover:
Since I am not in front of my gorgeous shelves but out of town I had to think about this and look at pictures I had posted on Instagram and decided on …. Firebug by Lish McBride which I still haven’t read yet …
Cozy Sweater – It’s finally cold enough to don warm cozy clothing: what book gives you the warm fuzzies? (I used pink cause is seemed like a fuzzy kind of color.)
SO for this I chose any book by Cassie Mae but the recent and probably my favorite at the moment is How to Seduce a Band Geek and guys I cannot stress on how much I want more people to read her books which are fantastic and so adorable!
Fall Storm: The wind is howling & the rain is pounding – choose your favorite book OR genre that you like to read on a stormy day:
I chose Torture to Her Soul by J.M. Darhower which is an AMAZING book/sequel that you all should read as well. The book is dark yet intriguing and would fit fantastically during a storm (:
Cool Crisp Air: What’s the coolest character you’d want to trade places with?
Of course I have waaay to many favorite characters (which is absolutely OK) but right now I would choose to switch places with would be Amy Gumm, the protagonist from Dorothy Must Die by Danielle Paige just because I can and duh I meet an evil Dorothy.
Hot Apple Cider: What under hyped book do you want to see become the next biggest, hottest thing?
This is perfect because I was just talking to my sister about this the other day and I believe the Soul Screamer series by Rachel Vincent is under hyped and deserves more attention, plus it is unique and I love it to pieces!
Coat, Scarves, and Mittens – The weather has turned cold & it’s time to cover up – What’s the most embarrassing book cover you own that you like to keep hidden in public?
Oh goodness I think I have tons. It’s not that because the books are that seriously steamy, some are, but some just have steamy covers that make no sense. Anyways I chose Losing It by Cora Carmack because well when my parents saw the cover it didn’t seem like a book I should be reading.
Pumpkin Spice: What’s your favorite Fall time comforts food/foods?
I realize that the brown I picked is an ugly brown but I couldn’t find a prettier one. I usually don’t have a “Fall comfort food” so I will choose my favorite fall drink from Starbucks and that is the Caramel Frappuccino with a shot of coffee.
Mmm right?
