It has been awhile since I was in this series and had to have a quick refresher over the first two books in the series, including the novella, to remember how fun and quick these books were. Though that being said I felt like this one was a step down from the previous, which is my favorite so far, however I enjoyed reading about Saxby’s story.

Saxby is an ex-SEAL and now currently working for a company called Justiss Alliance that incorporates his SEAL training to go undercover and investigate sticky and sneaky things that go about. His current mission involves him to investigate a hotel resort that had claims from guests about date rape drugs being used. There he meets Jennessy who was recently dumped and takes this time to go wild like she has never done before. This trip brings the two together as she is given the date rape drug but is saved by Saxby before things got out of hand and they are now partners in trying to find out who exactly is distributing the drug and why.

Despite me liking this less than the second book in the series, it was still an interesting read and it went by fairly quickly. I enjoyed the chemistry between the two main characters, Wainscott is good about writing steamy scene and getting sparks between her leads and this was another great example of it. From the beginning of the series I was eagerly awaiting Saxby’s southern charm and of course he didn’t let me down, with his sexiness he knew no woman could turn down but Jennessy may be the woman to turn his world upside down.

The banter between the two were just right, not too cheesy nor annoying which was something you don’t see enough if NA books these days. I also liked the combat in the story, it was introduced nicely and separates itself from other books in its genre. Jennessy was a great female lead, not letting Saxby’s sexiness distract her from him bossing her around like the big bad SEAL thinks he can. Eventually they learn to work around one another and see how much they are alike and click together.

Overall I gave this book 3.5 stars. Like the others in its series, I look forward to reading about the stories of the 2 remaining SEAL’s and hope to see cameos of the couple I have already met. If you haven’t read the series yet, I recommend getting them, they are quick and fun reads. Thank you readers for reading and I will have another blog post up soon.

As promised I binge read this series and am binge writing the review for this series and trying my best to get them out to you guys so I hypnotize you to read them and then we all can fangirl over these hot SEALs together. Or if you are a fanboy, we can still chat and stare at the covers together.

Alright I will say with 100% honestly that Julian, the SEAL for this story, is my favorite! I don’t know exactly why but his story reached out and grabbed me, pulling me in to get a better grasp and I did not want to let go. Goodness I loved his personality, his genuine personality, his instinct to want to protect anybody in need of help and the bad boy vibe he gives off – especially since he rides a motorcycle.

In Julian’s story he doesn’t really receive his assignment, he finds his own and that happens to be helping Mollie Reagan find her sister. Usually this isn’t Julian’s scene however once meeting Mollie he can’t think of a way to not think about her and when he realizes the path and risks she is taking to find her sister is not the safest one he has not choice but to help. While Mollie is used to being on her own and not trusting many there is something about Julian that leads to want to be helped and it doesn’t hurt that Julian is the kind of wild Mollie may have been looking for.

*sigh*

This book. This book had me staying up till 2 AM to finish because it was so addicting! I could not get enough a Julian, his antics, sultry smiles and dirty thoughts. He was literally head to toe sexy, lethal and beyond gorgeous. But when he and Mollie were together it was like fireworks. I loved how Julian is a womanizer type of guy but believes that Mollie could be the ‘one’ however Mollie is the girl that has set standards so high that Julian may spend quite a while climbing them. Though as the story progresses on, as the two fight crazy motorcycle, bar fighting, huge guys and speeding away from bullets, Mollie’s walls are inching down and Julian is starting to crack her armor just as she does his.

Plus the author goes a step more with the action plot, I swear I felt like I was playing Call of Duty while reading. Shooting the bad guys, riding atop cars to save the girl, fighting on roofs and stakeouts. Throw a little romance in there and BAM you get Wild Ways.

Another point I saw in the book was how the author incorporated the relationships of women in motorcycle groups/gangs and how ridiculed it was. It was nice to get some insight on how women were treated and while it did anger me I was glad to see and hear about this, maybe another type of domestic abuse to out an end to. Don’t let this keep you from reading the book though! It all pans out in the end and I am that much more excited to delve into the next SEAL’s stories.

Overall I absolutely enjoyed this read and gave it a whopping well deserved 4 stars. Thank you NetGalley and to the publisher for the chance to read and review Wild Way. Thank you readers for reading my review and I will have another post up soon!

Its been a while since I read this so I had to skim some scenes and remember why this series is one of my favorites of this year so far! If you have been with me for a while and remember I reviewed a novella by the author about this series you know I loved the book and couldn’t wait to binge read the series.

Well I did and yes I did love it as expected and cannot wait for the next installment. (There is three out so far, go read them!)

While in the novella, readers were introduced to 5 ex Navy SEALs and discovered the first book in its series would follow one of the SEALs, Rick Yarbrough, aka Risk, who wanted to be apart of the Justiss Alliance – an agency/security firm. His first assignment is one he has been waiting for and is ready to take head on no matter the danger that lies ahead but what he find is different than what he expected. His assignment? Baby sit a general’s daughter who is an animals right activist and completely out of control, even for him. Addie Wunder doesn’t believe she needs protection but when she realizes the real danger she is in, having Risk tagging along isn’t such a bad idea. Especially when the emotions between the two are becoming heated.

Guys I didn’t understand how much I would love each individual SEAL, which is a lot, and reading their own stories are so much fun and their love interest seem to get the better of them.

Risk was one of the SEALs in the novella that had me wanting to dig deeper for information on and his story was perfection. And the author even incorporated his ex SEAL team in the story (Saxby, Julian, Knox & Rath) and I squealed with happiness when they had their cameos. From the novella we know Risk as the adventurous one and in Wild on You he is no different. He and Addie were such an enjoyable couple to read about, their sarcastic remarks to one another and hilarious interactions that turned to lust they both tried to deny.

In the beginning it was difficult for the two being in the same room with one another, the awkward silence and sexual tension. What made it all more hilarious was that Addie was a supposed lesbian, only making Risk be much more attracted to her and later finding out she was in fact not a lesbian and then they went after each other.

The story moves pretty quick, action packed, like with guns and the guy does know how to use one, fighting scenes and I loved every page. Addie was an independent woman that didn’t want anyone to take care of her because she can very well take care of herself. She is devoted to saving animals and caring as much as she can for them, her compassion shining throughout the book.

Overall the end was comforting, wrapping everything up in a small happy climax that was overcome, leaving me satisfied and wanting more. I gave this book 4 action packed stars and am re reading the next book as I finish this review. I stumbled upon this series by actually reading the third book in the series first before I realized it was a series. Each book can be read as a standalone, so far there are three, and each is about a SEAL with their own missions and happily ever after. I decided to go back to NetGalley and try to binge read the novella and the first two books and I must say I can’t believe I was missing out!

I loved how this novella gave us some insight on each man, we get to see how they interact not only as partners in combat but also brothers. I enjoyed seeing the banter between the 5 guys, and also see what each went through once they finally went home. Each had their own problems to deal with and some were heart wrenching and exciting enough for me eagerly wanting the next books.

Book #1 Wild on You is Rick’s (Risk) story and you do not want to miss it!
